During the month of May all MeritBooster project creators who were actively raising fund were autimatically entered in our contest to give away a brand new iPad 3.
We had some truly amazing youth led projectslaunched during the months of April and May.
Projects that qualified for our iPad contest include:
Farm Fresh for Kids - a project led by Karthik Rathogi that helps connect underpriviledged kids in Nevada with nutritious foods from local farmers' markets;

After eleven weeks of business, technical and customer development in the first-ever Tech Start Business Accelerator from Connecticut Innovations, Keshav and co-founder Rajesh Patel are presenting their work to these early stage investors to seek the capital investment needed to fully launch MeritBooster.

Rajesh will be giving presentations to four groups of students from 8am to 11am. The title of the talk is "From Scientist to Startups - One Entrepreneur's Journey".
MeritBooster heads to Magnet school to meet with Robotics class
MeritBooster is once agian visiting the Engineering Science University Magnet School (ESUMs) Today. This time we have been invited in to visit with the robotics class. The Robotics teacher heard of us and our solution to let young people showcase their talents and rally support and funding, and reached out to invite us into the classroom to see what the students are doing and explore opportunities for collaboration.
MeritBooster Founder Receives Recognition from Congressman John Larson

MeritBooster founder Keshav Patel was given a Certificate of Special Congressional Reognition by Congressman John Larson of Connecticut. (see photo).
Along with the Certificate, Congressman Larson invited Keshav to become a member of the Congressman's Congressional Youth Cabinet - the nation's ONLY youth group formed by a congressperson to provide guidance on policy issues that may affect youth.
We are honored that the Congressman recognized Keshav's efforts on MeritBooster in this way.
